A manufacturing company was processing orders with a TAT of 7-8 days. They wanted to bring it down to 2 days or less and knew they were capable of doing so but were not able to fix up the problem.

A detailed study was carried out by our technical persons. We went back upto the raw material sourcing & stock management at the warehouse and factory level. Order management & order processing was made more robust. Schedules sourcing meant that the factory was never out of required material to produce. Order confirmation, sequencing, despatch & daily review of order management system was put in place. 

The revenues went up by 6% and profitability by 8%
